Regional Chess Tournament Concludes in Turkmenabat: Azat Yarashov Claims Victory

The 15th regional chess competition, held under the motto "Turkmenistan — Land of Inspiration and Health," has successfully concluded at Sports School No. 13 in the city of Turkmenabat. The tournament, which took place from March 30 to 31, 2026, brought together nine of the most talented young chess players from Turkmenabat, as well as the Dyanev and Farap districts.

Following two days of intense intellectual battles, Azat Yarashov, representing the city of Turkmenabat, secured 1st place. Enejan Isayeva from the Dyanev district took 2nd place, while Leonid Rakhimov from the Farap district earned a respectable 3rd place.

At the conclusion of the event, the winners were presented with honorary certificates by the organizers. This competition significantly contributes to the promotion of intellectual sports in the region and the further development of the youth's mental capabilities.
