
In the Era of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, the intensification of economic, political, and cultural cooperation with foreign countries, the successful implementation of exchange programs in the fields of science and education, and the deepening of international relations create broad opportunities for modernizing foreign language teaching in our country. Necessary conditions have been created in our country to improve the teaching of foreign languages, and special attention is paid to this area.
Recently, a new textbook for higher education institutions titled "Russian Language for the Profession" (author: T. Babayeva – A.: Turkmen State Publishing Service, 2026) was published. The textbook "Russian Language for the Profession" (for students majoring in "International Economic Relations") was prepared based on the relevant curriculum and is intended for students of non-linguistic universities. The textbook is designed in accordance with a 136-hour curriculum and is aimed at developing students' skills and abilities used in business relations and written correspondence in various fields.
The main goal of the textbook is to provide the knowledge necessary to master the vocabulary and grammar of modern business language. It also provides students with an understanding of the characteristics of business communication, various types of negotiations, document preparation, concluding contracts, conducting business meetings, making presentations, and methods of conducting discussions. The textbook also includes special texts and relevant assignments for independent work.
