Samsung Introduces New “Olympic” Smartphone — Galaxy Z Flip7 for Athletes

Samsung Electronics has unveiled a special edition of the Galaxy Z Flip7 smartphone designed for athletes participating in the 2026 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, which will be held in Milan and Cortina, Italy, in February and March. The exclusive smartphones will be gifted to nearly 3,800 Olympians and Paralympians from approximately 90 countries worldwide.

The Olympic edition of the Galaxy Z Flip7 features a distinctive design. Its casing combines Italy’s signature sky-blue color with a gold frame symbolizing victory.

For athletes’ convenience, the smartphone includes a dedicated “Galaxy Athlete Card” app, allowing them to share information, collect digital cards, and participate in interactive activities. Each device also comes with a transparent magnetic case adorned with gold laurel leaves and winter-themed wall illustrations.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition will start being distributed at Olympic venues from January 30, 2026. Samsung will also provide on-site expert support to assist with device setup, data transfer, and any technical issues.
