Satellite service T-Sattelite now supports Google Maps, WhatsApp, and X*

Starlink and mobile operator T-Mobile launched the T-Sattelite service in July 2025, which operates in zones without mobile coverage. Initially, in these “dead zones,” only text messages could be sent. In September, an update was released, expanding users’ capabilities. For example, users of devices with iOS 26 gained access to Apple Music.

Now, T-Sattelite allows sending messages and images via WhatsApp*. Voice and video calls, including group chats, are also available to users.

The T-Sattelite service currently operates only in the USA. The subscription cost is ten dollars per month. The subscription is also available to customers of AT&T and Verizon operators.
