5th-year students of the "Veterinary Medicine" specialty at the Turkmen Agricultural Institute are undergoing an internship under the guidance of experienced specialists at the Dashoguz City State Veterinary Service. This was reported on the official website of the institute.
The internship aims to ensure that students are not limited to theoretical knowledge but instead improve the practical skills necessary for their future professional careers.
As noted in the report, the students are closely familiarizing themselves with the daily practical aspects of veterinary work. The production internship provides students with the ability to perform tasks such as checking animal health, conducting treatments, organizing preventive measures against infectious diseases, and complying with veterinary-sanitary regulations. Additionally, students are learning to identify the causes of emerging diseases, develop appropriate treatment measures, and make correct decisions in production conditions.
The research experience gained in the Bacteriology Laboratory of the Provincial State Veterinary Service was particularly impactful. During this practice, students acquired skills in conducting bacteriological studies on microorganisms, learning disease diagnostic methods in laboratory conditions, preparing treatment and prevention plans based on results, and operating specialized equipment.
