Telephone Conversation Held Between Foreign Ministers of Turkmenistan and Russia

Yesterday, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, during the conversation, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the bilateral agenda. Special attention was paid to the practical implementation of previously reached agreements, as well as the schedule of upcoming contacts and joint events.

The importance of coordinating efforts within multilateral platforms, in particular the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Caspian littoral states' format, was emphasized.

The report also notes that the ministers conveyed their congratulations to each other on the occasion of the professional holidays of the diplomatic service employees of the two countries.
