Tennis Champions of the Capital Crowned

The Ashgabat City Tennis Championship was held on the outdoor courts of the "Ashgabat" multidisciplinary stadium. The intense competition brought together over 100 of the most talented tennis players from the capital.

In the men's event, Selim Chagylov, a student of the 10th sports school of the Ashgabat City Main Department for Physical Culture and Sports and a player from the "Jahan" creative center, emerged victorious. He is a pupil of experienced coach Jennet Hallyyeva. Second place was taken by Allanur Dayanjov, a student at the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan, while Merdan Hanov, a student at the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute, rounded out the top three.

In the highly competitive girls' division, Ilima Guseynova, a student of the 11th sports school of the Ashgabat City Main Department for Physical Culture and Sports, outperformed all opponents to become the capital's champion. She is coached by Uma Hummetova. Second place went to Aylar Kakabayeva, a student of the 10th sports school and a player from the "Jahan" creative center. Anna Polyatova, also from the 10th sports school and "Jahan" center, secured the third spot.
