The Football Federation of Turkmenistan Cup Has Begun

The competition for the Football Federation of Turkmenistan Cup started with the matches of Group "A".

In the first match of the game day, the capital's "Kopetdag" defeated "Nebitchi" from the city of Balkanabat with a score of 1:0. In the other match of the group, "Ahal" and "Shagadam" played to a goalless draw – 0:0.

Today, March 4, the teams representing Group "B" will take the field: "Arkadag" vs. "Ashgabat", and U-20 vs. "Merv".

It is worth noting that in the preliminary stage of the Cup, the teams compete in two groups — "A" and "B". The teams that take the first two places in each group will earn the right to advance to the semifinals. The teams finishing in third and fourth places will play matches for 5th–6th and 7th–8th places, respectively.
