A deeply moving event took place at the regular meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, serving as a clear testament to the state policy regarding the happy future of children and state guardianship. R. Bazarov, the Manager of the Affairs of the Khalk Maslakhaty Chancellery, addressed the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, and put forward a noble proposal to give a worthy name to a newly born girl who was left without parental care and is being raised in the orphanage of Ashgabat city.
According to the "Watan" news program, this proposal gained a special and profound meaning on the eve of International Children's Day, during the meeting of the Council of Elders under the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people fully supported this noble initiative of the elders. Hero-Arkadag especially noted that the baby girl was born in the sacred month of Gurban, which is considered the crown of all months, and suggested naming her Arkadag gyzy Gurbangul (daughter of Arkadag, Gurbangul). This naming not only expresses high respect for benevolent dates but also embodies a combination of holiness and beauty.
In his speech, the National Leader once again firmly emphasized that no child in the country would be neglected or left alone in life. As Hero-Arkadag noted, there are no children without guardians or care in Turkmenistan, because behind each of them, standing like a mighty mountain, is a powerful and compassionate state.
The regular meeting once again proved with absolute clarity that, despite his immense workload with state affairs, Hero-Arkadag pays continuous attention to the younger generation, particularly to children in need of love and assistance, and regularly takes an interest in their health, upbringing, and future. Little Gurbangul, who took a confident step into a great life with her new name, became the first symbol of the comprehensive warmth and care with which she will be surrounded by the state and society.
