With the arrival of April, as in all corners of our country, the spring horse racing season featuring Akhal-Teke steeds—the supreme value of national heritage—was solemnly launched in the Lebap province. This event, organized in the spirit of the year "The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy," once again revealed our people's inexhaustible love for the art of horse breeding to the world community.
Cultural and Leisure Celebrations The plaza in front of the Equestrian Sports Complex was adorned in festive attire. The ceremony began with impressive performances by masters of culture and art of the province, singers, and dance groups. The "Kushtdepdi" dance performed by the national folklore group and new songs praising the steeds added to the joy of the gathered spectators.
Race Progress and Technical Indicators A total of 5 competitive races were held on the first day of the season. In each stage, the speed of the horses, the skill of the trainers (seýis), and the agility of the jockeys were tested.
- The First Victory (1200 meters) In the first race of the season among horses aged 4 and older, a bay horse named Galmaz (belonging to the Lebap Equestrian Sports Complex) showed great speed. It covered the specified distance in just 25.7 seconds, making history as the first winner of the season.

- Victory of the Police Department (1400 meters) In the second stage, a bay horse named Parasatly, belonging to the Lebap Province Police Department, triumphed over its competitors. The steed showed a time of 1 minute 35.9 seconds.
- Trainer: Agamyrat Charyyev
- Jockey: Omruzak Hemrayev
- The Steed of the Provincial Administration (1400 meters) In the third race, a steed named Gojadag, belonging to the Provincial Hokimlik (Administration), opened a wide gap and was the first to cross the finish line with a result of 1 minute 37.4 seconds.
- Trainer: Honored Horse Breeder of Turkmenistan Aydogdy Rowshanov
- Jockey: Muhiddin Kuliyev
- Fractions of a Second (1400 meters) The fourth race was one of the most intense moments of the day. A chestnut horse named Alchep, from Dowran Gulbatyrow's farm, left the Turkmenabat City Administration's horse behind by fractions of a second, crossing the finish line in 1 minute 36 seconds.

- Competition for the Main Prize (1800 meters) At the longest distance of the day (1800 m), a bay steed named Gadam, belonging to Begench Nurmammedov's farm, showed exceptional endurance. It became the winner of the final competition with a time of 2 minutes 6.6 seconds.

At the end of the competitions, as is tradition, the winning horses were draped in ceremonial caparisons, and valuable gifts were presented to their trainers and jockeys. These celebrations became another testament to our people's reverence for horses and the state's great support for equestrian sports.
