The Most Active Ports

The list of the world's most active ports has been prepared. Eight Chinese ports made it into the top ten. The Ningbo-Zhoushan port in China's Zhejiang province took first place. No European ports were included in the list. Chinese ports stand out with more affordable prices for loading and unloading cargo. This increases the demand for Chinese ports. Ports are actively used not only as places where cargo is brought or taken away but also as locations where goods are unloaded, stored in warehouses, and transferred to other ships. Consequently, ports are of great importance for the continuity of the supply of goods and services worldwide and are directly linked to the economy.

The world's most active ports include Tangshan, Qingdao, Shanghai (China), Singapore (Singapore), Port Hedland (Australia), Guangzhou, Suzhou, Tianjin, and Rizhao (China).
