One of the country’s leading higher education institutions, the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, is currently completing the construction of a new building complex, which will be opened and put into operation this September. By order of the respected President of Turkmenabat, the 5,000-seat new complex is being constructed by the “Nahal” economic society, a member of the Turkmen Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Located on approximately 26 hectares, this modern educational facility is finishing major construction work, with interior decoration at a high pace, preparing for a grand opening at the start of the new academic year. Built in harmony with world and Turkmen architectural heritage, the complex provides all conditions for students to acquire modern knowledge, enjoy cultural activities, and practice sports.
The new campus includes an administrative and academic building, two faculty academic buildings, five student dormitories with a total of 2,000 places, a 12-apartment house for teachers, conference halls for 700 and 200 people, a 1,000-seat cafeteria, a 700-seat library, a 500-seat stadium, a gym, three sports grounds, and both open and covered parking lots for 200 cars each. Additionally, utility and other technical and service buildings are provided.
Currently, interior finishing and wall cladding works are being completed, using construction materials produced domestically and imported from advanced countries. Furniture is being arranged in the dormitories. Soon, advanced technologies from the USA, UK, Japan, Germany, China, Italy, Turkey, and other developed countries will be installed. Already planted trees around the complex create an attractive environment.
The modern building complex of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi will be solemnly opened on Knowledge and Youth Day within the framework of the Year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Land of Rapid Achievements.”
