
This is a three-day ministerial-level meeting dedicated to exploring new opportunities for strengthening cooperation between Eurasian countries and the OECD.
The event is held at the OECD headquarters. It involves high-level representatives of Eurasian countries, OECD member states, international financial institutions, as well as experts and members of business communities.
The Turkmen delegation is led by Babanyaz Yalakow, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan. Today, the Turkmen side will participate in the Competitiveness “Round Table,” focusing on improving the investment climate and supporting the private sector. B. Yalakow will outline Turkmenistan’s views on developing the Caspian transport corridor and streamlining trade procedures.
Key discussion points include enhancing the competitiveness of regional economies, digital transformation of small and medium enterprises, management of strategically important minerals, development of sustainable infrastructure, and strengthening the role of the Caspian transport route.
The OECD Eurasia Week provides an important platform for open discussions, experience sharing, and developing practical solutions aimed at sustainable and inclusive regional development.
