Launched in February 2026, the "Question and Answer" service of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan has rapidly become a vital tool for modernizing the customs system and improving the business environment. The acceptance of 201 inquiries during its first three months of operation (February–April) proves how essential this initiative is for citizens and entrepreneurs.
The majority of questions received from citizens and business entities covered the following issues:
- Procedures for customs clearance of goods.
- Requirements for export and import operations.
- Technical and legal issues arising at state border checkpoints.
The establishment of this service has created an open and reliable communication channel between customs authorities and the public. Obtaining necessary information from a single, reliable source in a timely manner has led to the following results:
- Acceleration and simplification of customs procedures.
- Reduction of errors during the documentation process.
- Saving of time and resources for businesses.
This service provided by the State Customs Service is free of charge and accessible to all interested parties.
- Phone number: 39-41-39
- Working days: Every day except Sunday.
- Working hours: 09:00 to 17:00.
This service is a significant step towards the digitalization of Turkmenistan's customs system and the enhancement of services in accordance with international standards.
