The Republic of Korea has delivered equipment worth 220,000 US dollars to the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

On February 3, a ceremony for the handover of equipment was held at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan within the framework of the Small Grant Program for Official Development Assistance (ODA) for 2025.

The Korean side was represented by the Chargé d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan, Kim Jun Chol, while the Turkmen side was represented by the Rector of the Institute of International Relations of the MFA of Turkmenistan, Gulshat Yusupova.

The total value of the transferred equipment amounted to 220,000 US dollars. The Small Grant Program for Official Development Assistance is aimed at providing technical equipment and material support to initiatives that contribute to the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan.

During the ceremony, the parties exchanged views on further strengthening and enhancing bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Korea in the current year. The participants also emphasized the importance of active participation in planned joint events between the two countries.
