The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in an interview with the "Al-Arabiya" TV channel during his visit to the United States of America, spoke about the Turkmen-American business partnership, emphasizing its strategic and long-term nature. Hero Arkadag cited impressive figures – over the years of mutual relations, hundreds of projects have been and are being implemented in Turkmenistan with the participation of American businesses. Their total value is approximately 45 billion US dollars. The National Leader of the Turkmen people specifically highlighted key companies that have been successfully operating in the country for decades, covering sectors such as energy, transport, agriculture, and the food industry. Among them are "Boeing" and "Sikorsky," "John Deere," "Case" and "Caterpillar," "General Electric," "Coca-Cola," and others. A special role in strengthening economic relations belongs to the Turkmen-American Business Council, established in 2008 at the initiative of the Turkmen side. Today, this form of interaction has become the main tool for finding new areas of cooperation. "At the same time, it is obvious that mutual opportunities can be used more widely. First of all, it is necessary to consider the diversification of Turkmenistan's economy, the wide introduction of high-tech industries, and the implementation of large national and international infrastructure projects," said the National Leader of the Turkmen people. Hero Arkadag also drew special attention to specific future directions of cooperation between the two countries. "We see great opportunities in attracting American investments and technologies for the development of innovative and science-based industries in Turkmenistan. There are also favorable conditions in areas such as electric power, computers, logistics services, education, and professional development of personnel," emphasized the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
