
As of January 1, 2026, the total volume of outstanding loans issued by credit institutions of Turkmenistan to enterprises, organizations, and the population in national currency reached 98 billion 556.7 million manats. As of January 1, 2025, the total outstanding loan volume amounted to 92 billion 135.7 million manats. This was reported in the electronic journal Bank News published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
As of January 1, 2026, the volume of outstanding loans issued by Turkmenistan’s credit institutions to state-owned enterprises and organizations in national currency amounted to 48 billion 332.9 million manats. As of the corresponding date in 2025, this figure stood at 52 billion 127.8 million manats.
At the same time, as of January 1, 2026, the volume of outstanding loans issued in national currency to non-state-owned enterprises and organizations reached 18 billion 830 million manats. As of January 1, 2025, the total outstanding amount of these loans was 14 billion 761.1 million manats.
During the reporting period, the total volume of outstanding loans issued in national currency to citizens and individual entrepreneurs without legal entity status amounted to 31 billion 393.8 million manats. As of January 1, 2025, the total outstanding loan volume was 25 billion 246.8 million manats.
