I sincerely congratulate you on the opening of the Exhibition of Export Goods of the Republic of Türkiye being held in Ashgabat in the year “Independent, Permanently Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of the Swift Horse.”

At present, the Republic of Türkiye is one of our country’s major trade and economic partners. Turkish companies, working closely with Turkmen partners, successfully implement a number of joint projects across various sectors of the economy and expand effective cooperation in the business sphere. This is clearly reflected in the consistently developing multifaceted relations between the friendly Turkmen and Turkish peoples, whose historical roots go back centuries and who are rightly regarded as “two states — one nation.”

The favorable conditions created in Turkmenistan for investment, entrepreneurship, foreign trade, and joint economic cooperation open up great opportunities for the further development of Turkmen-Turkish relations.

The regular organization of mutual exhibitions of national products, business meetings, and forums in Turkmenistan and Türkiye positively contributes to the activation of relations between representatives of the public and private sectors in various fields. As a result, the Republic of Türkiye occupies an important place in Turkmenistan’s foreign trade turnover. At the exhibition opening today, the achievements, advanced experience, innovative initiatives, and developments of Turkish companies in areas such as agriculture, food industry, construction, production of industrial equipment, energy, chemical industry, healthcare, education, and science will be widely showcased. Alongside partners already operating in Turkmenistan, the exhibition also includes companies participating for the first time with their products. This once again clearly demonstrates the strong interest of business communities of the two friendly states in long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.

I am confident that this exhibition will play a significant role in expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Türkiye, increasing trade turnover, further developing business relations with Turkish companies and investors, and attracting investments into our national economy.
