"Tohkemy Corporation" explores water desalination projects in Turkmenistan

The Japanese company "Tohkemy Corporation" aims to implement small and medium-sized water desalination projects in Turkmenistan. The company pays special attention to the development of water treatment and environmental infrastructure in rural areas. This was stated by Misunori Yamazumi, the company's sales promotion manager, in an interview with the "Trend" agency.

According to Misunori Yamazumi, water treatment, including desalination, is the main focus of the company's activities in Turkmenistan. The implementation of large-scale projects is envisioned in cooperation with leading Japanese corporations.

In April 2025, "Tohkemy Corporation" signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan, which provides for the exchange of information and the preparation of specific proposals for the development of the water treatment sector.

Within the framework of future cooperation, the company plans to implement projects in Turkmenistan and supply these projects with equipment.
