
Last week, 31 transactions were registered at the trades of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.
For foreign currency, representatives of the business communities of Afghanistan and Turkey purchased liquefied gas produced at the enterprises of the "Türkmennebit" State Concern and urea produced at the enterprises of the "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern.
Furthermore, wheat flour, unbleached fabric, men's clothing, cotton yarn and fiber, regenerated cotton wool, portland cement, and dry licorice root extract were sold for foreign currency to entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Great Britain, Serbia, and Kyrgyzstan. The total value of the transactions amounted to more than 37 million 801 thousand US dollars.
Local businessmen purchased polypropylene and base oil (State Concern "Türkmennebit"), cotton yarn, and wheat flour for the domestic market for a total value of more than 48 million 506 thousand manats.
