TRAINING SESSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS HELD

On March 17, 2026, a training session on human rights was held at the Scientific and Methodological Center for Sustainable Development Goals of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan. The session, organized in cooperation with the Regional Office for Central Asia of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), was attended by students and faculty from the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the International University for the Humanities and Development.

The training was conducted by Mr. Erkin Isakulov, Human Rights Adviser of the OHCHR Regional Office for Central Asia.

During the session, Mr. Isakulov provided extensive information on the topics "The UN Human Rights System" and "Standards of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities," covering fundamental concepts of human rights and the core international documents that form the basis of human rights. The regular organization of such training sessions greatly assists in expanding students' knowledge of human rights within international law.
