Turkish Airlines has officially updated its fee structure for carrying oversized baggage across its flight network. Under the newly implemented regulations, passengers carrying luggage that exceeds standard dimensions will incur an additional fee of $110 USD for direct flights to Istanbul, and $150 USD for international transit routes.

According to the carrier's official guidelines, a piece of luggage is classified as standard if the sum of its height, length, and width does not exceed 158 centimeters. Notably, the dimensions of external wheels are excluded from this total measurement. Any baggage exceeding these parameters will strictly fall under the new oversized pricing tier at airport check-in.

To avoid unexpected fees at departure, Turkish Airlines strongly advises all passengers to measure their luggage dimensions prior to traveling to the airport, ensuring a smoother check-in process and predictable travel expenses.
