As noted in the report, Turkmenistan possesses significant potential for expanding ties with European partners across various sectors. The sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening and developing the legal and institutional framework for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the EU.
Ambassador Sapar Palvanov noted Charles Michel's contribution to strengthening the partnership between the European Union and Central Asian countries, highlighting his role in increasing the EU's focus on the region and developing cooperation in the field of transport connectivity.
Particular attention was paid during the meeting to Turkmenistan's role as a stable and reliable partner contributing to the promotion of peace, security, and sustainable development in the region.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Charles Michel and his wife, Amélie Derbaudrenghien, visited an exhibition dedicated to the cultural heritage of Turkmenistan at the embassy.
