Turkmen chess players win five medals at championship in Kyrgyzstan

The Central and North Asian Chess Championship is currently taking place on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul in Kyrgyzstan. Represented by 19 athletes, Turkmenistan’s team demonstrated exceptional skill in the rapid chess tournament. Meryem Rustemova and Byagul Jumayeva claimed gold medals, while Annamuhammed Hommadov and Lala Shohradova took home silver. Aya Bayramova rounded off the success with a bronze medal. These achievements highlight the growing competitiveness of Turkmen chess players on the international stage.
