Faculty members from the Oguz Han Engineering and Technology University of Turkmenistan participated in the international scientific event "Science Festival – 2026" held in Minsk, Belarus, presenting their new research works and innovative projects in the field of biotechnology.

O. Soltanova, Head of the Biotechnology Department, and D. Porrykow, Head of the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department, attended the festival organized by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus on September 5–6.

Now in its eighth edition, the "Science Festival" is one of the largest science popularization events in Belarus, offering residents and visitors of Minsk an opportunity to explore diverse areas of contemporary science and technology.

During the festival, research institutes and centers of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus showcased their latest developments. Representatives from the Turkmen university presented projects developed through their ongoing biotechnology research.

The scientific solutions presented by the Turkmen scientists drew significant interest from attendees. Additionally, the visit featured professional meetings with professors and researchers from various Belarusian research institutions, facilitating discussions on genetics and breeding, microbiology, food biotechnology, and agricultural biotechnology.

The meetings underscored the importance of exchanging experience between researchers of the two nations, identifying new avenues for scientific cooperation, and fostering joint research initiatives. The "Science Festival – 2026" in Minsk served as an effective platform for Turkmen educators to showcase their work in the international scientific arena.
