Under the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, a delegation of horse breeders from our country will travel to Tashkent, the capital of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The group, consisting of members of the International Akhal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and leading specialists from the "Turkmenatlary" State Association, will participate in several large-scale events.
During the visit, Turkmen representatives will take part in the "Pearl of the East" sports and beauty competitions, as well as the international conference titled "The Akhal-Teke Horse — A Symbol of Friendship Between Nations."
These competitions, scheduled for May 9–10, are aimed at further enhancing the global fame of Akhal-Teke horses and strengthening cultural and sporting ties between the two neighboring states.
The journey of the delegation and the elite horses participating in the international contests began ceremoniously in the beautiful settings of Arkadag city. The route started from the Akhan monument roundabout, the city's main landmark, and continued along Akhan Avenue and the Flag Square of the new city.
"The participation of Akhal-Teke horses in international competitions will once again prove the beauty and agility of our heavenly steeds to the entire world," the Head of State emphasized during a recent Cabinet of Ministers meeting.
This event is another manifestation of the great respect shown at the state level toward national values, particularly the Akhal-Teke horses. The performance of these horses, an inseparable part of the people's spiritual world, on international platforms demonstrates that Turkmen horse-breeding art is reaching new heights.
