The President of Turkmenistan, guided by the spiritual values of the holy month of Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday, signed a Decree on the pilgrimage of our compatriots to perform Hajj. According to the document, 289 pilgrims from our country will travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This pilgrimage, carried out to continue national traditions and spiritual principles passed down from generation to generation over millennia, will take place from May 21 to June 11, 2026. The pilgrims, selected from various regions of Turkmenistan, will visit the holy sites of the Islamic world during this period and will have the opportunity to perform the Hajj rituals completely and correctly.
The "Turkmenhowayollary" agency has been instructed to organize special flights to transport the pilgrims to Saudi Arabia and back at its own expense.
The organization of Hajj at the state level is another testament to the high regard for freedom of conscience and spiritual culture in our country. Pilgrims visiting the holy cities of Mecca and Medina will not only fulfill their religious duties but also pray for the unity and peace of the Turkmen people and the continued prosperity of our state.
This noble endeavor is of great importance in enriching the spiritual world of our people and increasing respect for universal human values.
