The young talents of Turkmenistan's "ImdatBot" education center have brought yet another victory to our country at international competitions. This time, they achieved a high result at the "XCEL Global" international robotics competition held in Australia.

In March of this year, the qualifying round of the "XCEL" competition was held in Ashgabat, with 7 teams from the center participating. Based on the final results in April, the local teams won 5 gold and 2 silver medals.

Among these winners, Kurambay Matsapayev, a member of the "Line-Storm" team, earned the right to participate in the international stage. Traveling to Australia at the beginning of July, the young talent successfully performed at the "XCEL Global" competition held from July 9 to 14, securing first place, winning a gold medal, and returning triumphantly to Ashgabat on July 16.

This is not the first success for the "ImdatBot" center, which is an official partner of the educational robotics manufacturer "Makeblock":

  • In May: The center's youth participated in the international competition "Robotek Grand Tournament Astana 2026" in Kazakhstan, where Leysan Jumageldiyeva won the right to study for free at the Kazakh-British Technical University, while Tigran Melkumyan and Nuryagdy Bayryyev became winners in the "Innovative Technologies" category.

  • In 2025: Students of the center returned with gold and silver medals from the "XCEL" international Olympiad in Los Angeles.

Opened in Ashgabat in 2019 and currently educating youth using the STEAM methodology, the center continuously contributes to raising our country's profile with its ongoing successes. Currently, "ImdatBot" announces the admission of new students for the August summer quiet study camp.
