Turkmenistan and Afghanistan Discussed Cooperation in the Field of Product Quality Assurance

On February 27, 2026, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan held a meeting in Ashgabat with members of a delegation led by Mullah Faizullah Tamim, the head of the Afghanistan National Standards Authority. During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of standardization, certification, and product quality assurance.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan, views were exchanged on important directions for the development of trade and economic relations.

The parties emphasized the crucial importance of compliance with quality requirements in increasing mutual trade turnover.
