Turkmenistan and German Company Express Interest in Deepening Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Sector

In Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, the heads of the "Türkmengaz" and "Türkmennebit" State Concerns held a meeting with Viktor Nikitin, Head of Business Development at "BASF Intertrade AG" (Switzerland), a company of the German "BASF Group" conglomerate. During the meeting, important directions for developing bilateral relations were reviewed.

According to the report by the official media of Turkmenistan on Monday, the parties confirmed their readiness to expand mutually beneficial relations and expressed great interest in deepening cooperation in the oil and gas industry.

Participants of the meeting reviewed the implementation of previously reached agreements, discussed the current state of affairs, and deliberated on future opportunities for developing relations in areas of interest. The parties presented their proposals, expressing confidence that studying them would serve to implement plans for the near future.

The "BASF" company actively participates in regional projects in Turkmenistan. The company's gas purification equipment was selected for the new gas chemical complex in Kiyanly. If necessary, the company can provide technical support and consulting services. During the meeting, the parties exchanged detailed views on developing cooperation in this direction.
