
Turkmenistan and Germany expressed interest in expanding cooperation in the fields of transport, energy, green transformation, education, and healthcare. This was stated on Wednesday in Berlin during a joint meeting between the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and the heads of foreign policy agencies of Central Asian countries.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen side was represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov.
During the talks, the parties noted the dynamic development of Turkmen-German relations and emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation within the regional format, as well as interaction in the international arena, primarily within the framework of the United Nations and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
At the end of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen mutually beneficial cooperation.
On the same day, Ahmet Gurbanov also met with Dominik Mutter, Director of the Political Department of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
