Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan confirm readiness to develop transit potential in the region

Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan confirmed their readiness to continue joint work in new directions with the aim of strengthening transit potential in the region and creating conditions for the prosperity of the entire region.

According to the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Turkmenistan on Friday, this was announced during meetings between the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan Nurlan Nogayev and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Annayev, as well as the Minister of State Highways of Turkmenistan Hangeldi Kerimov.

In this regard, the importance of joint infrastructure projects, viewed as a reliable basis for ensuring sustainable development and expanding business cooperation between the two countries, was particularly emphasized.

Following the negotiations, it was confirmed that the development of cooperation in the transport and logistics sector remains one of the priority areas of bilateral economic relations.
