Turkmenistan and Qatar sign agreement on cooperation in equestrian sports

The Aba Annaýew International Equestrian Academy and the Qatar Equestrian Sports Federation signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

The document was signed during the academy delegation’s working visit to Qatar from January 29 to 31 this year, at the invitation of the Qatar Equestrian Sports Federation.

The signing ceremony was attended by Bader Mohammed Al-Darwish, President of the Qatar Equestrian Sports Federation; Khalid Abdulla Al-Hatmi, Deputy Executive Director of the Al Shaqab Equestrian Sports Complex on behalf of the Emir of Qatar; and Pygy Bayramdurdyýew, Rector of the Aba Annaýew International Equestrian Academy, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences and Turkmenistan’s People’s Horseman.

The Memorandum is expected to strengthen the legal framework for cooperation between the two countries in science, education, innovation, and equestrian sports. It will also create new opportunities for experience exchange and professional training, while promoting the further development of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Qatar.
