Turkmenistan Delegation Discusses AI Cooperation with OpenAI

As part of their participation in the World Education Forum in London, the delegation of Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Minister of Education Azat Atayev, held a series of strategic meetings with international organizations and tech companies. According to the Ministry's official website, the discussions focused on digital transformation, AI integration, education management, and teacher training.

A key highlight was the meeting with OpenAI representatives, where the future of responsible AI usage in education was discussed. OpenAI showcased "ChatGPT Edu," a specialized version designed to support teachers, students, researchers, and administrative teams. The discussions specifically addressed preparing educators for AI tools, developing internal institutional guidelines, data protection, and creating controlled environments to safely pilot these advanced technological solutions.
