Turkmenistan reaffirmed its support for the "One China" policy once again

Turkmenistan, possessing the internationally recognized legal status of permanent Neutrality, consistently implements its foreign policy course in accordance with the universally recognized norms of international law.

Based on this, relying on the Charter of the United Nations and the fundamental principles of respecting the territorial integrity of states, Turkmenistan has once again noted that the Government of the People's Republic of China is the sole lawful Government representing the interests of all China, and Taiwan is an inalienable part of this country's territory.

Our country declares that it firmly adheres to its principled and unchanging stance regarding the "One China" policy. Along with this, opposing any form of the concept of "Taiwan independence," Turkmenistan supports the development of relations between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait exclusively through peaceful means. Turkmenistan fully supports all efforts made by the Government of the People's Republic of China to ensure the integrity and reunification of the country.
