On August 12, a direct videoconference meeting was held in the conference hall of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan (CCIT) with the heads of the Eurasia Department of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China. According to the press service of the CCIT, the meeting was attended by executives and specialists from the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the "Turkmenhimiya" State Concern, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on ensuring high-level participation of the Turkmen delegation at the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) to be held in Shanghai, China. The sides reviewed plans organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan to establish a national pavilion showcasing the country's export potential and industrial capabilities.

The parties also discussed expanding bilateral trade relations, simplifying export-import procedures, and supporting mutual investment projects.
