On May 28–29, 2026, Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will host one of the largest economic events in the Eurasian space — the Eurasian Economic Forum. A delegation from Turkmenistan is expected to participate in this significant forum.

According to the official website of the forum, the event stands out for its impressive scale. Participants will include:

  • Approximately 1,250 entrepreneurs and business representatives;
  • Over 350 officials from government agencies of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member and observer states;
  • More than 130 experts from international organizations.

Additionally, about 70 representatives from various countries, including the USA, China, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, Egypt, and Tajikistan, are planned to attend alongside Turkmenistan.

The core theme of this year's forum is: "EAEU in the Global Digital Race: Trust in Artificial Intelligence." The main topics of discussion will be:

  • New models of economic growth;
  • Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies into the economy;
  • Digital integration and market unification;
  • Expanding the scope of international cooperation.

The forum's program features about 30 key events, the most significant being the plenary session with the participation of the heads of the EAEU member states. Turkmenistan's participation in this international forum is another proof of the country's interest in regional economic integration and the adoption of modern technologies.
