Turkmenistan – UAE Business Forum to be Held in Ashgabat

The third Turkmenistan – UAE Business Forum is planned to be held in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan, in October of this year. This issue was discussed during a meeting held on Wednesday between Bayram Bayramov, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abdulla Sultan Al-Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Humaid Mohamed bin Salem, Secretary-General of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

According to the "Al Khaleej" publication, the parties discussed opportunities to expand economic and investment cooperation between the two countries and exchanged views on the current investment climate and business potential of both the UAE and Turkmenistan.

Abdulla Sultan Al-Owais noted the importance of intensifying bilateral relations and the exchange of visits by business delegations. He also emphasized that direct cooperation between business communities contributes to the development of trade and the expansion of partnership.

During the meeting, it was noted that the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry is interested in consistently strengthening cooperation with Turkmenistan in the economic, trade, and investment sectors.

The second Turkmenistan – UAE Business Forum was held in October 2025 at the building of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
