Turkmenistan Weightlifting Championship Begins in Ashgabat

The Turkmenistan Weightlifting Championship will be held in the capital from February 17 to 20. The competition is organized by the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports and the National Weightlifting Federation of Turkmenistan. The championship will take place at the "Ashgabat" multipurpose stadium.

The championship, which will be organized with the participation of national teams from all provinces of our country and the city of Ashgabat, is expected to be highly competitive. Athletes will compete in various weight categories to demonstrate their mastery, strength, and level of preparation.

This large-scale sporting event is held to promote a healthy lifestyle in the country, enrich the experience of young athletes, and develop the national school of weightlifting.

Based on the results of the championship, the
