On the eve of the New Year, Novar Gylyjowa, a resident of Daýhan village in Akdepe district of Daşoguz province, celebrated her 110th birthday. She celebrated the occasion surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and fellow villagers. In the village, she is considered the head of a large family, reports the newspaper “Turkmenistan.”
Novar has three sons, two daughters, 16 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The family is expecting new additions soon. All her children and most grandchildren are involved in teaching, which is why the family is called the “family of teachers.” Her son Tirkeş has been working as a labor studies teacher at the local 39th secondary school for 55 years.
“I am happy to see the fruits of my work and live a full life. All my children built strong families, and many of my grandchildren have become independent,” shared Novar.
Novar Gylyjowa spent her entire life working in agriculture. She says the secret to her long life lies in good wishes, honesty, and caring for children. During the New Year holidays, the whole family gathers together. The 110-year-old resident warmly congratulated her neighbors and the entire united community, wishing everyone health, long life, and prosperity.
