
On March 4, 2026, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan, B. Rejepov, met with Kanat Maratovich Tireuov, Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in the fields of education and science, and exchanged views on the implementation of joint research projects.
Following the meeting, the Ambassador delivered a lecture for Turkmen students studying at the university, as well as for the faculty members.
In his speech, the Ambassador detailed the main directions of Turkmenistan's foreign policy, measures taken regarding youth policy, and the important tasks set for the younger generation by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. He also mentioned plans for the widespread celebration of the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan's Independence in 2026.
The Ambassador noted that the attainment of state sovereignty by both Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan gave a new impetus to the long-standing traditions of good neighborliness, resulting in bilateral relations reaching the level of strategic partnership and true brotherhood.
Furthermore, B. Rejepov introduced the new book by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov titled "Neutrality of Turkmenistan – a Bright Path of Peace and Trust." The Ambassador highlighted that the book emphasizes Turkmenistan's development during its years of neutrality as a stable and globally open state that harmoniously combines national traditions with an innovative path of development.
At the end of the event, Ambassador B. Rejepov expressed interest in the students' academic and athletic achievements. The students, in turn, had the opportunity to ask questions.
