
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Turkmenistan continues to support the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan (MHMIT) in combating non-communicable diseases by regularly supplying medicines for their treatment.
As part of the Agreement on the provision of medicines for the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases, UNDP has delivered the next batch of medicines intended for the treatment of oncological and hematological diseases.
The following medicines were handed over to the Ministry in this new batch:
This step is part of UNDP's large-scale project to deliver nearly 60 types of medicines to the country's healthcare system annually. Such measures help increase the availability of treatment for patients suffering from oncological and hematological diseases.
Since 2021, UNDP has been implementing projects for the prevention and treatment of non-communicable diseases with full funding from the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.
