The Seyitnazar Seydi State Music and Drama Theater of Lebap Velayat hosted the velayat stage of the competition titled "Müdimi Senadyr Ene Hüwdüsi" (Eternal is the Praise of the Mother's Lullaby). The event took place in a high-spirited atmosphere and was organized jointly by the Central Council of the Women's Union of Turkmenistan, the National Center of Trade Unions, and the Secretariat of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO.

Women employed in various fields participated in the event, masterfully showcasing the performance features and melodic charm of lullabies specific to different etraps of the region. Through artistic performances, the participants highlighted the significance of the mother's lullaby as an ancient genre of oral folk art.

In accordance with the competition rules, the contestants spoke about the origins of lullabies, the characteristics of wooden cradles (sallançak), and shared legends, fables, and proverbs related to national heritage, beliefs, and traditions. During their performances, alongside cradling a child with a lullaby, the contestants also demonstrated various types of national needlework.

Drawing inspiration from Hero-Arkadag's book "Bow to the Mother — Bow to the Sacred," the participants illustrated the educational importance of the mother's lullaby in rearing the younger generation, preserving family values, and passing down national traditions from generation to generation.

Based on the competition results, Jeren Hudaýnazarowa, an educator at kindergarten- nursery No. 63 in the city of Türkmenabat, won first place and earned the right to compete in the national stage. Reýhan Myradowa, a singer at the Magdanly City Culture Center in Köýtendag Etrap, took second place, while Aýnabat Durdyýewa, a member of the "Zemin nagmalary" folklore group from Garabekewül Etrap, secured third place.

Commemorative gifts were presented to all participants by the Lebap Velayat Trade Union Association of Turkmenistan.
