Vivo has officially launched the new Y29t 5G smartphone — an addition to the Y29 series. The device features a large display, a 6000 mAh battery, and MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability. However, it also comes with an HD+ screen, a weak front camera, and outdated eMMC 5.1 storage.
Specifications:
Display: 6.74", HD+ (1600×720), 90 Hz
Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 6300
RAM: 6/8 GB
Storage: 128/256 GB + microSD support
Cameras: 50 MP + 0.08 MP (rear), 5 MP (front)
Battery: 6000 mAh, 15W charging
Operating System: Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15
Other features: NFC, IP64 rating, side-mounted fingerprint scanner
The smartphone is available in two colors: Titanium Gold and Jade Green.
Price: 1,099 Malaysian Ringgit (≈ 20,265 Russian Rubles)
Despite its basic specifications, the price is comparable to more advanced models from competitors. It remains to be seen whether Vivo’s strategy will be justified by consumer demand.
