VK Introduces Next-Generation Messenger Called VK MAX
VK has announced the launch of the beta version of its new messenger, VK MAX. The project is presented as a multifunctional digital assistant of the future, combining communication, financial transactions, and access to various services. The initiative is inspired by the success of China’s WeChat app, which has become an essential tool for hundreds of millions of users.
The MAX messenger was developed as part of Russia’s approach to digital sovereignty.
In the future, VK plans to significantly expand the capabilities of the MAX ecosystem. Among the expected new features are integration with state services ("Gosuslugi"), the creation of a fully integrated payment system, the addition of mobile services and its own marketplace, as well as enhanced tools for entrepreneurs.
