Kutlimurat ABAYEV, Chairman of the primary trade union organization of the "Lebapwelaýatagyzsuw" association: In our region, large-scale work is being carried out to provide the population with clean drinking water and to organize the uninterrupted operation of water and sewage systems. Since the beginning of this year, the "Lebapwelaýatagyzsuw" association has carried out cleaning and repair measures on 405 meters of water pipes and 355 meters of the sewage system, making a significant contribution to improving the living conditions of the population.
Currently, the total length of drinking water pipelines in our region reaches 2,538 kilometers, and the sewage system exceeds 567 kilometers. Also, last year, important steps were taken to expand modern infrastructure through the sewage treatment facility with a daily capacity of 5,000 cubic meters in the Dovletli district and the drinking water pipeline laid from the Hojaili village council of the Charjew district to the Azatlyk settlement of Turkmenabat city. These efforts provide an opportunity to increase the living standards of the population and establish services at a more advanced level in both urban and rural areas.
Our association constantly cares for the uninterrupted supply of drinking water to the population. These efforts at the state level will give a great impetus to the development of the water supply system in our region as well.
The persistent labor of our association's employees is particularly noteworthy in this regard. Exemplary employees such as equipment operator Nasiba Bazarova, repairman Artyk Achylov, accountant Zamira Hojakova, and supervisor Enejan Bazarova make a great contribution to the high-quality performance of daily tasks and the normal functioning of water supply systems. We take great pride in the fact that the labor achievements of our colleagues serve our people.
It is worth noting that in recent years, modern types of public service have been successfully implemented. In particular, the creation of opportunities to make payments for drinking water through a digital system has been a great convenience for citizens. Currently, through specialized mobile applications, the population can pay for drinking water quickly and without hindrance from where they are. This increases the convenience of services and opens new opportunities for improving living conditions.
In the future, our association will continue working on modernizing water supply systems, expanding repair and cleaning measures, and increasing the scope of digital services. This is aimed at further raising the living standards of the population in accordance with the important tasks set by our esteemed President.
