According to the American leader, Leavitt is leaving the position to spend more time with her wonderful family and children. He emphasized that he fully understands and respects her decision. Trump also announced that Leavitt will remain close to his administration as one of his key foreign policy advisors.

Expressing his gratitude for her service, Trump praised Leavitt as one of the finest White House press secretaries.

Citing online prediction markets, media outlets report that current Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly has a 30 percent chance of succeeding Leavitt in the role. Former attorney and Trump legal representative Alina Habba ranks second with a 29 percent probability.
