“Woman of the Year”: Ogulbeg Berdimyradova — awarded “Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year” in Ashgabat

On January 27, the Ashgabat stage of the “Woman of the Year” contest, organized by the Central Council of the Women’s Union of Turkmenistan, was held. Several young women from the capital participated in the preliminary round, demonstrating their skills and talents.

The contest, held in the banquet hall of the “Berkarar” shopping and entertainment center, was full of impressive moments. Participants effectively showcased national traditions and cultural practices, which are an integral part of Turkmen life. Women entrepreneurs also demonstrated their potential across various categories.

Entrepreneur Ogulbeg Berdimyradova, participating in the category “Contribution to the development of the country’s market economy and entrepreneurship”, was awarded “Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year” and took first place. Her carpet shop “Ajap” in the “Bagtyyarlyk” shopping center plays an important role in promoting the traditional arts of Turkmenistan.
