Workshop on Modern Teaching Methods in Quality Education and Innovative Technologies

To further improve the country’s education system, instill patriotism in young generations based on sacred ancestral traditions, and provide education according to global standards, large-scale initiatives, including training and methodological workshops, are regularly conducted.

Recently, one such event was organized by the Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute. The online workshop titled “Modern Methods to Improve Teachers’ Professional Level: Scientific Research and New Approaches” focused on integrating achievements of contemporary science, the latest technologies, and digital-based practical and experiential lessons into the education system according to world standards, as well as enhancing teachers’ professional skills.

The seminar brought together professors from the National Institute of Education of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, pedagogical schools named after Hydyr Deryaýew and Berdimuhamet Annaýew, as well as teachers from city and regional education qualification centers, general education schools, preschool institutions, and specialists.

Speeches addressed topics such as improving professional skills based on scientific research and new approaches, implementing innovative technologies and advanced practices in teaching, developing curricula, books, and guides, and enhancing the content and methods of teaching. Participants also discussed strengthening the mentor-apprentice system and new approaches in this area.

In the second half of the day, the workshop continued in sections: “Theoretical and Practical Foundations of STEM Methodology in Natural and Exact Sciences,” “Modern Pedagogical Methods in Teaching Humanities,” “Innovative Methods and Pedagogical Skills in Language Teaching,” and “National Educational Traditions – the Integrity of Intellectual and Physical Development.” Participants noted the active nature of the events and received clear answers to their questions.
