Xiaomi has officially introduced the new POCO X8 smartphone, intended for the global market. The main feature of this new model, which belongs to the mid-range device lineup, is its powerful battery that allows it to operate for a long time.

The POCO X8 smartphone is equipped with an 8,340 mAh silicon-carbon technology battery. The device supports a 67W fast charging system. According to the manufacturer, the battery is capable of retaining at least 80 percent of its initial capacity even after 1,600 charging cycles.

The new smartphone features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display. The screen, which has a 120 Hz refresh rate, is covered with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective glass.

The device's performance is driven by the energy-efficient Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and a 16-megapixel front camera.

The body of the POCO X8 is also distinguished by its high level of protection. The smartphone has a reinforced structure resistant to water and dust in accordance with IP68 and IP69K standards.

The new device runs on the Android 16 operating system and Xiaomi's HyperOS 3 interface. The smartphone will be available for sale in black, white, and orange colors.
